The first week of August we held our annual
Spiritual Breakthrough conference.
Preparing for this conference involves a lot of work and many late
nights, but it is always rewarding because we see how each year it is getting
better and better. We had attendees from
many Arab nations, including: Syria, Jordan,
United Arab Emirates, Algeria
and even a pastor from Bagdad,
Iraq.
They came to be refreshed, encouraged and
equipped to spread the Gospel in their countries. We had speakers from America, the Middle East and from Asia, and they challenged us to reach the harvest. What impressed me, though, is that their
message wasn’t reaching the harvest with big crusades or other great things,
but simply: being an example, having a father’s heart for people, being a
servant, disciple one person and teach them to do the same. I left this year’s conference, not just
encouraged, but with a change of heart about what it really means to be a
worker in the harvest.
